For an early-stage company, getting an important hire right can be critical to its progress. Before starting a search, we work closely with company leadership and hiring managers to examine the position requirements in detail. Together, we clarify what is essential, where there is flexibility, and what could prevent a successful hire. That preparation guides our research and screening, helping hiring managers spend less time reviewing unsuitable candidates.

Our Approach

Understand the Need

We begin by mapping the talent market and identifying people whose backgrounds appear to fit the role. Interested candidates move through several stages of screening, giving us a fuller picture of their qualifications and any potential obstacles. Only after that evaluation do we present candidates we believe are fully qualified and interested in the opportunity.

Research Thoroughly. Present Selectively.

Clients can view their search database as the work unfolds, including the people identified, candidate progress, and our working notes. Weekly reports summarize the work completed and what comes next. Clients can also see current billing.

Clients own the contents assembled for their search, including names, contact information, résumés, links to LinkedIn profiles, and our notes. The database remains online for 60 days after the search is completed. Its contents can be exported, and we preserve them so the search can be reopened for future hiring needs.
